One can get into all kinds of difficulty if one doesn't know the
cultures. It's a sad statement about human nature, but true.

I'm told that Russians didn't like the movie "Dr Zhivago" because
they felt it was too melodramatic.

That having been said, what do you think their comments would be
about this performance?
