See if you can make the first pad over the first hole on the right hand joint more open and also the left hand joint pads. If the pads don't open high enough the notes will sound stuffy. These clarion notes are very often sharp on A clarinets when the pads open
to the correct height. If they don't open high enough the clarion register will be stuffy.
