I can't believe it - The Joseph Patelson Music House in New York is
closing. What memories of my youth that place has for
me. Patelson's and Schirmer's on 49th street in Manhattan were my
sources of music starting in the early 1960's. They were also a
pleasant trip into Manhattan since I live on the other side of the
Hudson in New Jersey. Even the most constant things are being
destroyed by today's world situation. When I read the notice, I felt
like someone died.
