Thanks for more information as I will keep that in mind about getting a
custom mouthpiece someday.

The sqeak problem is gone since I took you advice in soaking the entire
reed, as again, I am not a professsional, as someone said that should not
be. Anyway, it worked. I never did that before with number 4's.

But just to test out this, I pulled a number 4 reed out of the trash can in
my room where I practice, as it is just paper. the reed is still in the
plastic sleeve.

I moisten the front part and proceded to play.

Jennifer got it right, that it squeaks on tonguing as mainly on the lower
upper register part, B, C, D. Weird, as the reed is not chipped warped,
etc.

Do I have weird batch of ML reeds? I have no idea.
