I am unable to answer the question about Golodoro's last appearance, but I
have another question to ask about him.

I am told that in his final years, he lived with daughter and son-in-law in
a house in upstate New York. And in that town, there was a small band that
played at events such as Memorial Day, etc. And Al went and played 3rd
clarinet with the band because he did not want to be in a position of
elbowing any of the other players out of the way.

Can anyone confirm this lovely story? It is too good to be true.
