The American Chamber Ensemble Presents Music Mostly Old Concert on March
22 at Massapequa Public Library

The American Chamber Ensemble's Music Mostly Old concert will take place
on Sunday, March 22, 2009 - 2:00 p.m. at Massapequa Public Library, 40
Harbor Lane in Massapequa Park, New York. This event is presented by the
Town of Oyster Bay Distinguished Artists Concert Series.

This concert will be a celebration of the music of Mendelssohn and the
200th anniversary of his birth. Music by Massapequa-resident Herbert
Deutsch will also be presented along with works by Paul Heffner, Vally
Weigl and Beethoven.

Performers for this concert will include ACE Directors, pianist Blanche
Abram and clarinetist Naomi Drucker, who will be joined by ACE members
pianist Marilyn Sherman Lehman and cellist Chris Finckel

Special guest will be Stanley Drucker, principal clarinet of the New
York Philharmonic.

The American Chamber Ensemble explores the great chamber music
literature for clarinet and piano in combination with strings, woodwinds
and voice and presents performances featuring world-class artists. ACE

Treasures, featuring core members of ACE performing works by George

The American Chamber Ensemble Plays Peter Schickele, which features five
of this modern master’s most important chamber works.
