Nancy, are you using (or have you used) Teflon tape on your Clarinets at all
3 Tenons at some time? Center connection at Bridge doesn't ever rock? Never
get a leak? How often do you replace tape?

BTW: I certainly hope no one is reading & scraping off their corks as this
is discussed. (Best to follow the old adage - if its not broke, don't fix
it.)

3M has a decent dividend & earnings multiple,

Karl,

On the last pass around the joint, place your finger on the joint and pass
the tape
over your finger. After breaking the tape, thread the loose end through the
tape
where your finger has created a loophole. pull it like you would a
shoestring
untill it is tight, and smooth the end down onto the joint. And you do have
two
ends, it is just that you have a reel connected to one end.
