Along with mechanical (creating a recording) rights, synchronization
rights (allowing the music to be "syncronized" such as being used in
movies, TV, video, film and multimedia) and more ...

No one's going after your kids when they make a movie and add some music
for a school project, but if morphs into something like "The Blair Witch
Project" and gets popular as an indie film - something that in today's
self-publiched world is actually possible - watch out.
