Here! Here! Even though I'm a repairer, I lived for many YEARS with Teflon
tape wrapped around one of the joints of my own clarinet before I ever got
the chance to replace it properly. It works great. Just make sure that you
clean the cork first so that grease is removed, and apply under slight
tension so that it grips itself as it's wrapped around. If you need extra,
add extra. Every working clarinettist should have this is their case!
