I know there is one with Henri Bok in Rotterdam and I think there is one wi=
th Harry Sparnaay in Amsterdam (I hope I'm spelling the Dutch names correct=
). I think the one in Amsterdam is in the CVA (not sure). I don't remember =
the name of the university in Rotterdam (maybe Rotterdam Conservatory, or s=
omething like that). I think these focus mainly on written music, maybe esp=
ecially modern composed music, but I'm not sure really and best to ask them=
about it.

I don't know about other countries.=A0In my country I went to a department =
in university called "Cross-Disciplinary"=A0and I chose to play soprano and=
bass clarinets, but I could play only bass clarinet if I wanted. Maybe som=
ething similar is available in other music schools in other countries.

Hi all -
I'm looking to gather some information about colleges and universities
that allow clarinet students to either "major" or at least focus on
bass clarinet. I remember this coming up in past years, but have not
had luck finding it in the archives, so...
I wonder if someone might either
a) point me to the archived messages or
b) list a few (or more!) schools that allow for this type of thing.
