Hi Jim, I'm playing Peter and the Wolf in late March also but this is the
first time for me. I was initially given a Bb part but figured there had to
be a part for the A clarinet after I saw the D's. At our last rehearsal, I
obtained the parts for A clarinet from our conductor. I think I may use a
combo of Bb and A parts, since the A parts are of course written in more
challenging keys. I haven't yet practiced the parts much but I do have both
