The Marine Band played most everything live. It's amazing that we
could play at all. There are no heaters and of course some of the
valves on the brass instruments were freezing shut (or open). Its
not an ideal way to try to play music but you do what you have to do.
It was an amazing event in our country's history. As miserable as I
was out there, it was a privilege to play such a small part.
