BB is a musician, which is more than I would say for most of the rappers.

Urban poets? I'll give them that. Maybe even good ones.

Musicians? Many aren't at all.

Well.....BB King not only talked at CU...but in a huge surprise to the
University, brought his band. They played, he talked....it was great.

Have you ever heard the old saying, "blues is for fools"? It kind of like
"rap is crap". Some folks just don't like the "blues"....just not
"uplifting" enough for them. LOL

I don't think this thread is about rap. Get the drift...in the riff?
