Karl says

<<Unless squeaks are a major feature
of your playing, it may be best to concentrate on just producing the best
sound you can and fingering as cleanly and with as much control as you're
able. Over time the squeaks will take care of themselves.>>

This is good advice. Squeaks will happen, especially to beginners. One
of the problems is that it takes years to develop the embouchure
muscles necessary to control the reed adequately.

One thing to concentrate on is to eliminate any jaw motion as you
tongue or switch registers. Moving the jaw just begs for the reed to
squeak. Remember - the reed WANTS to squeak, and it is the correct
and constant control of the embouchure that directs the reed to play
the note and the register that we want.
