Clif,

Could be a pad that is leaking air, as mine was.

Take it in for a good look over, they caught some keys that where slightly
bent too.

The clarinet is a Forte less than a year old.
I think it would squeak all the time on a certain note if that was true.

In the future I will stop on a squeak to see if this is like you believe.

There are times when my instructor will caution me on accidently rubbing
against a wrong key.

He always plays with me. There are times when I tell him to stop so I can
hear what I am playing and for him to note my fingering.
