In our aerobics class today, the instructor played several great smooth
rock-n-roll songs.
Love it.

Then came a rap song.
That is okay, I guess it is music and does have a large audience.
But to me it sounded like primitive repetitive phrases set to musical noise.

On Comcast we have many music channels. When practicing with my clarinet I
listen to a swing band channel with the greats.

I think I'll see how I do if I listen to Rap when playing.
Will I play faster because of the music or to escape....I'll see.

It is like a restrurant that plays fast music so the patron will eat faster
and finish sooner.
