The old bass had a wider stretch between the first two fingers in the right hand and I ended up injuring the ligament on the outside of my index finger. I have been getting treatment from a hand therapist but I feel that his lack of experience with musicians has limited my recovery. Has anyone had such an injury? Does anyone know of a hand doctor that specializes in dealing with musicians in the U.S.? Any help is appreciated.
