Second thoughts why am I being defensive on this matter. No rapper has
posted any justification for treating the genre as serious music rather =
than
a passing fad or badge of belonging (uniform) of a small group of folks =
who
wish to be thought "different".

Yes, you are definitely with him. You both, judging from your posts,
criticise something you don't know=A0much about. Re the clothes:=A0some
musicians in other styles wear=A0silly clothes.=A0Some classical =
musicians
do,=A0for example.

I'm with David since 99% of the "rap" generally available falls
into the
*rap variety and lofe is too short to waste it listening to overblown =
egos
in trousers four sizes too large.

It's very strange that you can criticise rap so generally since it's
clear
from your post you don't know much about it, or at least not about SOME =
of
it. If someone listenes to good rap music, they might like it, or they =
might
still hate it. But if they understand all music they would have to admit
good rap is good regardless of whether they like it or not, and not
criticise all rap generally. Some people need to realize they don't like
some styles of music because of themselves, not because of the music.

The thing missing from rap is the c in front of the word, or an e at the =
end
of
it.

Cause that's what that "music" is as far as I'm concerned.=20
Over-promoted dog excrement.
There are talented musicians out there performing R&B, Jazz, etc, but =
not
rap. They mostly all are money-hungry lowlife, minimally talented
and over promoted hooligans making a mockery of music.

Bling Bling idiots.

That's my opinion, and I'm stickin' to it.
