And now for something completely different and completely serious.

I am 53 and from time to time, somehow, I have caught a few Sponge Bob's on
TV which in my opinion is really a cartoon show for kids, as many of the
lines are so adult, in how the head cashier hates his job at the Krusty
Krab.

I also can relate to the show, since my wife and I are in the food
business, she a dietician and me in sales to restaurants.

And also, the head cashier squardward, plays clarinet for relaxation, but
badly. He has dreams of being a famous clarinist one day.

My question for those who know of the show and squardwards playing of the
clarinet is, do you think this part of the show helps or hurts kids
willingness to play the clarinet?

The above is a part of a episode I found on You tube that features Squidward
and the clarinet. The bleeping is someones doing to the episode.

There is a complete episode of this on youtube, 7 mins, as it shows you the
stuff that he goes through in getting a band together.
