In every type of music in cluding rap there is good and bad. Maybe you've never heard good rap, or not able to realize when it is good because of a biased against the style. Some people just don't like a style and categorize everything in that style as "bad". It is possible to understand (all) music in a more basic way where style will not affect your understanding of whether it is good or bad in an objective way. It is also possible to seperate objective understanding of the music with whatever you like or don't like. There is some music that I like but admit is not very good. I like it in spite of that, for other reasons. Some rap is good, some is bad. I don't know especially a lot of rap that I like, but I like some rap which is good and even some bad rap (and same for other types of music).

By the way, I don't rap or play in any kind of rap music (yet), and actually with the music I play many would probably think I'd hate rap. I still listen to rap sometimes, and actually sometimes me and some friends (who are also mostly "serious" and "professional" musicians) might improvise some rap out of no where, with an instrument we might happen to have (or something that is improvised to be an instrument). Usually it's not only music but also very funny.

Sorry if anything isn't clear since this is not my first language.

I know what axiomatic means but the crux of all this argument/debate as
usual is about definitions. I have sat through any number of science group
meetings when heated arguments rage and almost always both sides have a
point but they don't share a common definition.

I suppose by rap I mean the puerile stuff that one hears when unfortunately
tuning into the wrong radio station, full of bile and aggression urging the
listener to various illegal activities. There is no point at which that
touches me except to trigger the repulsion button. Maybe your Rap is
something entirely different.

I admit that noises produced by the human voice assisted by electronics or
neat can be music (whatever that means) and in the right context even
guttural strident dischord can be music. I perceive rap as entirely guttural
dischord and aggression unleavened by any other emotion that is why it
cannot be compared the the work of musicians such as Mozart who manage to
tap into a wide spectrum of human emotion.

Is that too ridiculous for you!

You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Please don't
bandy about words like "axiomatic" unless you are damn sure you know

the connotations. Disliking rap is completely valid, your "argument"

however, is ridiculous.
