Peter, I was being (or trying to be) ironic by praising what was the most
awful playing I had ever heard, and in an arrangement that made my teeth
itch.

That is what I meant by being satirical, which involves saying the exact
opposite of what one really means.

Not sure what you mean Dan,

The thing that has always broken me up is thinking that the unbelievable
text accompanying this "genius rendition" might actually be seriously meant!

But no-one needs to look up your original comments, I think clicking on the
link is enough for any clarinet player!
