Dear List,

Finally had some down time and have added a few more recordings of Mr.
Abato's to the tribute website.

For the alto saxophone enthusiasts, there is a previously unknown
recording of the Ibert "Concertino da Camera" with the Great Neck
Symphony (not to be confused with the famous Philharmonia->Nonesuch
recording) and an also previously unknown recording of Ralph Hermann's
"Porgy and Bess Fantasy for Alto Saxophone and Orchestra" (I believe the
only recording of this instrumentation in existence).

For the clarinet enthusiasts, I have added a recording of the first
movement of K.498; the beginning of a gold mine of clarinet chamber
music ABC radio broadcasts done by Mr. Abato in the late 60s and early 70s.

I will readily admit some of this material on this page is in a very
grey area of copyright law (although it might surprise some people which
material is grey and which is not) and welcome any discussions from the
copyright holder's if they feel this material should not be made
available. It was Mr. Abato's express wish that I profit off these
recordings, but it has always been my wish that they be made available
to the widest audience possible to preserve his legacy. I receive no
profit by posting these recordings and have spent over a decade trying
to get various multi-national corporations to even acknowledge my
requests for proper permissions.
