It certainly isn't easy, although I remember that it was the rhythms
that gave us more trouble than the notes. I remember doing an
arrangement of a simpler piece so that we could practise our ensemble
playing while we worked on some of the technical stuff. Do you want
me to try and dig it out for you?.
If one of your clarinettists is a competent pianist (ours was) you
could also try the Thuille sextet for piano and wind quintet- very
well worth playing and rather Brahmsian. have also played a Krommer
work for that combination.
