Hi Claudia, glad to hear that your recovery from 4-quadrant gum surgery went
well.

I had the same thing done perhaps 30 years ago, and when I restarted playing
after a two week hiatus like you, I felt that my sound had improved. And I
credited that phenomenon to the fact that there was more surface area of the
teeth available. I have no idea if I'm correct, but that was the only
physical difference to which I could attributed the improvement in sound
character.
