He was also a fantastic teacher. I studied with him when I lived in San
Diego, back in, I believe, 1992. He helped me prepare for an audition
(I didn't get the job, but I learned so much preparing!) and the process
we went through to choose a mouthpiece for me was amazing. I still have
that mouthpiece somewhere.
