That's why full-text search is so valuable. You can sort/index any way
you want, but full-text searching is the way to retrieve things by words
or parts of words. I use swish-e to index near a half million postings
and articles on woodwind.org, and retrieval takes generally less that
1/10th of a second. It's a traditional space/speed tradeoff (the indexes
are huge) - but disk has become cheap.
