Tim, you mention that the performance was not a human one, made me relisten
to the first duet. And while it sounded very much like real people (with
terrific techniques), every time there was a really fast triplet I thought
to myself, "something about that triplet's execution is funky." Perhaps the
execution of the triplet was simply too exact. Except for that matter, they
could have fooled me.
Still, I thank you Tim, for setting me straight on this one.
You are right that the artificial performance does not reduce the quality of
the piece. It just made me jealous.
