Don't know if this is something you've thought about, but I recently
had the chance to play a friend's Buffet B-12, and I was very
impressed with the tone quality possible on that instrument. Not sure
how much that would run you, but it's a thought. Or an E-11?
Also, there's an outfit called Clarinuts that advertises reconditioned
instruments on the Clarinet Board. Has anyone bought anything from
them?
