I just joined this list but my primary instrument is oboe/Heckelphone. The
American scrape is has been attributed to several people.
Now for my clarinet questions. Has anyone looled at the German makers for
their clarinets. Several make clarinets that are not just the "German
system" and
have some very impressive bassett and bass clarinets plus one I have placed
an order with makes a nice Ab and G clarinet as well as modern A and Bb in
boxwood.
Here is the company who I have been impressed with their willingness to
accomidate me

Also, is the Targotato considered a clarinet or saxophone. I found a nice
source for one but they make four models.

PS: If anyone on the list makes clarinets, could you tell me the size of
wood
I would need to order to have a clarinet specially made. I mean a A or Bb.
Not a large instrument like a bass clarinet.
