No, I have the ordinary register key and both the Leblanc and Wurlitzer =
work fine with it.

On the other hand, I have only used the basset clarinet for Mozart. No =
very high notes, and never tried multiphonics on it - only on regular =
clarinets. I'll try next time I take it out (which will be next week).
