Hello all,

Does anyone on the list have experience with Tom Ridenour's bass and
basset clarinets?
http://www.ridenourclarinetproducts.com/clarinets.htm

What I'd like to get is an idea of where these clarinets fit on the
range from 'student instrument' to 'professional' to 'really good' to
'absolutely fantastic'.

My main instruments are a lovely pair of Festivals so I'm not without
pickiness about what I play, but I'm also not prejudiced either about
price necessarily meaning quality, or hard rubber meaning a lack of it.
And I'm quite keen to have both bass and basset clarinet in my
collection sooner rather than later if I can ...

Thoughts? :-)

Best wishes,

-- Joe
