I think the Beethoven trio is tricky for the pianist. I"m sure I"ve
played a trio by Danzi but I can't trace it - you may be able to.
The Glinka trio (with cello playing the bassoon part) is worth
spending time on. There is also a good arrangement of the Mendelssohn
trio with cello playing the bassethorn part. Is there nothing on
Oliver's list?
