Good solos for beginners (with piano) that I have used extensively:

The Really Easy Clarinet Book--Paul Harris.

You'll want to put some slurs into these pieces, but they are on target
for where your student is right now.

Jack Brymer Series (Easy--book 1) with piano that stay in the chalumeau
register; a couple are by Schumann. Only 4 or five pieces in each book,
but very useful.

A little later:

"Clarinet Music for Beginners" published by Editio Musica Budapest--o
two pieces entirely in chalumeau (including a Bach "musette")--the rest
in clarion. Sophisticated materials, many from the Renaissance. Pricey.

Eric Simon's "First Classics", "First Solos" (Carl Fisher)

Pop books such as "Joy of Clarinet" etc.
