There have been some good comments to this one. I have also found
that some of the Vandoren mouthpieces (including Java, V16) work well
and are not too costly. They are also fairly easy to play. As some
people have mentioned, the sax is a different animal. Don't expect
the same resistance or feel. Get a comfortable free blowing set up
that you don't have to fight with. Many clarinet players initially
choose reeds that are too hard when going to sax.
