I have a Martin from the 1920's. It was sharp in the upper register.
Rhueben Allen made the neck octave vent smaller by dropping a little solder in it.
The pitch improved drastically.

I have a True Tone alto, and I also have the problem of its playing sharp in
the upper register. If anyone knows a remedy, that would be great
information.
