Subj: [kl] contrabass clarinet mouthpieces

I've got a Leblanc contrabass clarinet and have been playing on the original leblanc mouthpiece. I also have a Fobes mouthpiece but find it too thin for the sound I want.

I'm looking to check out some other mouthpieces, but given the prices I thought I would ask for some opinions first.

I'm ideally looking for something with a big robust sound (which the leblance mouthpiece has) but that provides a little more of a focused sound than the leblanc.

I'm looking at the Selmer C* which markets at about $350. Does anyone know if this is going to be a significant upgrade from the Leblanc mouthpiece?

Any other suggestions?
