There are lots of questions you can still ask. Orphan works? (Hasn't
there been some proposed legislation on this?)

Another issued is arrangements where the copyright wasn't renewed, but
the underlying work is still under copyright. Would you have to
negotiate with the copyright holder of the original work if you wanted
to reprint the arrangement?
