One more thing. When your problem is fixed, can you
please check this: Play low A, loud, then press the
register key to play the clarion E. Make sure you are
playing this interval legato! Actually try this with
several of the same interval Bb-F, B-F#, C-G, etc.
both loud and quiet and both slow and fast. Especially
for the A to E interval, do you notice too much "air"
(like a "pfff" sound) when you jump to the E, and also
possibly the E stalls a little bit? For example
compare this to the legato interval G to D which uses
the body register key. If you do notice that, the same
as I and other players like Jean Marc Volta and Hary
Sparnaay have, there is a solution to this too by
modifying the neck register tube.
