It's my fervent hope tha John Adams' music be used at Guantanamo instead of waterboarding. It's a more benign form of torture, usually causing extreme boredom.

Regards.

Exactly Bill. I kept hoping that there was going to be a melody, or
something of rhythmic or harmonic insterest somewhere around the next curve
in the road, but it never came. Maybe the other movements (presuming there
are some) are more interesting.

Whenever I had an opportunity to play minamilist music, it was as if bees
were inside my head buzzing, stinging, and biting. Do people go crazy
playing that kind of music?

Dan

You are right Dan, it is a difficult piece. I worked it up then decided that
there was not enough music in it to justify my performing it in public.

Perhaps just not my cup of tea.
