And there was a further, unusual, mid-year price increase. Vandoren
is not alone in this, however, as some other major suppliers, such as
Conn-Selmer, raised their prices mid-year as well. But the Vandoren
jump was pretty steep! Probably cause by speculators and the cane cartel. :-)
