We have quite a few books of etudes and other exercises. One of the=20
most unusual is the following (probably not for a high school student):

C260: 11 Studies in Karnatic Modes for Clarinet by Eug=E8ne Bozza.=20
Alphonse Leduc, 1972, SS, 11 pages. These eleven difficult etudes are=20
based on Karnatic modes which are the foundation of the classical music=20
of Southern India. $17.45.
