Unfortunately, i have often played with conductors who seem to forget
this. There have been times when it seems that they have worked out a
pattern that they think is good. Upon entering rehearsal, as it is
having no success with the orchestra, they refuse to give up on it,
instead blaming the players, because they know it was a good idea!
