Just take a pencil cushion (they sell those at stores such as target) and
cut it to thumb rest size - connect that after the strap and it will hold
the strap in place.

I need to get my grandson, who plays in a high school band, a clarinet strap

My Neotech that I use on my Forte will not work on his Buffet B12.

It slips right off the thumb rest.

Any suggestions?
