Hi Everybody! Thanks for the answers to my questions (and thanks to Mark C=
harrette for figuring out why the first three or four tries didn't get ther=
e!!!!)

Nick, the address you listed came through as complete gobblety-gook on my c=
omputer, but if it's the one I think it is, it wouldn't do a thing the last=
time I was there. Maybe they've worked on it? (I hope, I hope!)

"What I was saying was that to choose which of Mozart's works to listen to =
on the basis of instrumentation is to miss some wonderful
music."

Matthew, I couldn't agree more!!! The thing is, for this particular projec=
t I'm looking at PLAYING a lot of the music, as well as listening to it and=
studying it. Since I have only a limited amount of money to spend on musi=
c, I don't want to go ordering scores and then discover there is no part fo=
r me to play!

Speaking of which, does anyone have any experience with the Orchestra Music=
ian's Library? They sell CD-Roms that have the clarinet (or violin or trum=
pet, etc.) parts for several works, that you can print out from your comput=
er. It seems to be more for study purposes than for actually using in perf=
ormance. The one I'm looking at (on Sheet Music Plus) has several of Mozar=
t's symphonies and opera overtures, as well as several pieces by Haydn. I =
was wondering if anyone knows how accurate they are.

Keith, I read several things on the Mozart forum several weeks ago, but did=
n't save the address, and couldn't find it again, because I couldn't rememb=
er what it was called. Thank you!!!!!!!

Fred, the last time I priced a Groves, it was WAY out of my budget range. =
(Close to $2,000, I think.) Must see if the library in Summersville has a =
copy!

Dan, this is obviously an oversimplification, but would you say that Leopol=
d was fairly easygoing as long as Wolfgang was content to let him make the =
decisions, and only became truly overbearing when he (W.) started trying to=
control his own life? That's the impression I get from what I've read so =
far. I also get the impression that Wolfgang enjoyed irritating his father=
, but that may just be because I would have, in his situation!!!!!

Angelia
