OK, I realize that what I am recommending below is not a strap. But, I
tried a strap, and found a much better solution in the Kooiman Etude
thumb rest:

It's now up to 29.99 (I think I paid $15.00 just a few years ago).
Simple mounting with two screws, no need to drill holes, reasonable
range of adjustability.

There is a much more expensive and complex version of this product (see

works quite well.
