Bill, his Sym #3 is the Scotch sym, #4 is the Italian.

How about the Mendelssohn Italian Symphony 3. Con moto moderato ? I have
played
this in several professional orchestras. Sometimes the clarinet parts were
in
"A" and sometimes in "Bb" which would make for an interesting story twist
that
the version being performed had Bb clarinet parts.
