I am a 'jazzer', so I will second this advice. Glisses are done in
the throat and with the lip - not the fingers. The fingers are just a
way to get the gliss kick-started. There is really no way to explain
the technique online. You're best bet is probably to find a jazz
clarinetist/sax player and hope that he/she knows how to teach a
gliss. If you're lucky, you'll come across a trained player who
doesn't mind a little musical perversion ;-) (like me) and can help you.
