Oliver Seely - thank-you for posting the Lachner nonet on your site (http://www.csudh.edu/oliver/clarmusi/clarmusi.htm).

I hope your nonet gathering in July works out. If you are ever looking for another nonet to play,a little-known but wonderful nonet is that of C.V. Stanford (for fl, cl, hn, bsn, 2 vlns, vla, vcl, bass), published by Phylloscopus.

If anyone is in the Montreal region on March, 27th, 2008, I have arranged a nonet concert at Redpath Hall at McGill University. Admission is free.
The second half features my reconstruction of the Brahms Serenade No. 1 in D Major.
The first half features the Stanford Serenade (nonet) and the Glinka Septet in its clarinet version
(cl (instead of ob), bsn, hn, 2 vlns, vcl, bass).
