Might anyone be overlooking the other Uebel's? My Shackleton book shows
there was an A. Uebel, F.A. Uebel, F.G. Uebel and G.R. Uebel. Could A.
Uebel and F.A. Uebel the same person as the catalogue shows 2 clarinets
manufactured in 1954 with serial nos. 14116 (A. Uebel) and 14117 (F.Arthur
Uebel).

BTW, the markings on that clarinet are probably F. A. Uebel, not F. G. F.
Arthur Eubel was one of three students of Oskar Oehler, the developer of the

modern German System clarinet. These Uebel clarinets are still being made,
but I can't seem to find a web site for them.
