Hi Terry.
After reading you'r recent post you may be interested to hear of my experi=
ences toothwise.
Some ten years ago I faced you'r problem and after years of dreading the lo=
ss of my lower
small & wobbly teeth took the plunge and replaced them with a lower denture=
palette (Partial)
After a short period of discomfort I came to realise that my "new" bottom t=
eeth provided an unexpected benefit for my clarinet playing since my embou=
chure now had firmer lip support
also the new
(Non leaky) teeth acted as a sort of air-dam effect directing the airstrea=
m more efficiently.
One problem I have had is the extra pressure in the lower gums can cause =
occasional soreness. So now I have a second partial which I use for eating,=
and the other for playing.
This changes & rests the pressure points thus solving the discomfort probl=
em.
Should I have got my dentist to make my palatte out of grenadilla ? JOKE)
Good Luck Harold Troughton Blue Magnolia JO Liverpool.
